Term 2 Week 10

22/11/10
Today we were supposed to do another rehearsal in front of the whole class again. Luckily due to being in guitar class, I ended up having it delayed to thursday. I ended up practicing it in the guitar room and asking Mr John to make guitar tabs for my composition. That made it realkly easy for me to play the song, and it helps me practice it more.

25/11/10
On the day where I had to perform for the rehearsal, I forgot to bring my tab. So I had to re-translate the notes myself. Luckily, I was able to do it in time for the rehearsal, so I could just play it while reading the notes. It abbed some notes wrongly though, but its ok, as I found some notes accidentally on my own. So In the end, its all good.

Term 2 week 7-9

1/11/10
Today we finally had to write down our composition on the final draft paper. I found it somewhat tiring to completely write down, but also sort of easy. The lyrics were the real hard part, and I had to take a while to make them. In the end they were mostly simple.

4/11/10
Today we just checked the 40 bars finale. So all we did was watch two specific works. We watched mine, which I found sort of embarrassing and Jesslyn's which was really funny. She even mentioned Mr Singh in it, which made it even more funny.

8/11/10
Today we just listened to people's finale. That was really boring (no offense). Some were nice, but I really wanted to go to the instrument class. I didn't have my hard copy and journal, but that's fine I guess. Melvin's was nice, and hopefully he'll be able to play it.

11/11/10
Today Mr Herry had to go to some workshop so we were left with Mr John teaching us. That was an unfamiliar experience, but it was fun. For once we stayed in the main room, and we learned everything in the same room as the other kids. This made the class really fun.

15/11/10
Today we had to practice for our composition. I sucked at mine because I had not practiced yet. So I was like lame in the front for the time being. However, I learned the scales so this could be easier later. (At the time of writing this I still have not learned the song).
